THE WAIT IS OVER! 🎉 TOMORROW, WE BEGIN THE 2026–2027 SCHOOL YEAR! 🐯✨

We are SO excited to welcome our 1st–5th grade scholars through our doors tomorrow! We are ready to learn, grow, make memories, and SOAR TO NEW HEIGHTS together! 🚀🦅

📸💙 BLUE CARPET OF FAME!

We are rolling out the BLUE CARPET OF FAME! 🌟💙

We will have a special banner and photo opportunity ready for our scholars tomorrow morning! 📸🐯

Want to take pictures of your scholar? Absolutely! We would love for you to capture the moment!

🚗 Please park in the main parking lot or the Lawton parking lot if you plan to take photos.

🚫 Please do NOT park in or block the U area, as this is our bus/fire lane and must remain clear.

🍎 BREAKFAST BEGINS AT 7:50!

Our doors will open at 7:50 AM, and we will be serving FREE breakfast to our scholars! 🥞🍎🥛

⏰ 8:30 AM = TARDY BELL

Please make every effort to have your scholar at school on time every day. Every minute matters! Consistent attendance and being on time are important and can impact chronic absenteeism.

🚌🚗 CHANGES TO HOW YOUR SCHOLAR GOES HOME

If your scholar will be going home a different way than their normal transportation plan, please send a written note to the teacher.

📌 Please do not rely on a phone call to tell the school about a transportation change.

We completely understand that last-minute emergencies happen ❤️. If something unexpected comes up, please contact the school, and we will work with you.

🏫 DISMISSAL — 2:30 PM

School will dismiss at 2:30 PM.

💙 1st Grade: Front of the building — Hartford side
💚 Grades 2–5: Back of the building — Greenwood side

👕🐯 DON'T FORGET THE DRESS CODE!

👗 Shorts, skirts, and dresses must be fingertip length.
👖 No holes in pants unless leggings are worn underneath.
👚 No exposed shoulders or crop tops.
👟 Shoes must have a back.

We hope to see all of our Tiger families tonight from 3:00–5:00 PM for our Open House & Supply Drop-Off! We’re excited to welcome you back and help kick off a wonderful school year!

A few important reminders:

👜 Only clear, small bags are permitted due to the new district policy.

🩺 All diaper bags and medical bags are subject to search.

🚌 Please do not park in the fire lane. We will have a school bus and an ice cream truck on-site for families to enjoy and purchase from.

🚗 Please park in the school parking lot or at Lawton Community Center.

As we get ready for another amazing school year, we want to make sure our families are aware of **new event safety procedures beginning this school year.**

👜 **What bags are permitted at APS events?**
✅ Only **clear bags** no larger than **3.3" × 8.3" × 6.5"**
✅ **Diaper bags** — diaper bags are subject to inspection

🚫 **What bags are NOT permitted?**
❌ Backpacks
❌ Purses
❌ Book bags
❌ Other non-transparent bags

🔎 **Please note:** All guests are subject to district security screening procedures.
