#51 has 2 fire rings
1 set of 4 cables
No real flat spots for a tent
Hammocks could work

Water on both sides but only a trickle, had to go down trail a bit for water

Wake to rain and ice. Get ready and pack up inside the tent 😬. Slightly difficult with 2 people, but with patience and teamwork it is possible.

So I scared the 3 guys at camp. They had never had anyone come into camp after dark. 🤷‍♀️ sorry guys, traffic was a beast.
Breakfast was turkey sausage gravy and biscuits. YUM! Gets your day going! Got a long way to go.

11:31 snake den ridge trail 4.6 to Maddron bald trail

Snake den ridge- worst trail EVER up the whole way, rocks the whole way, roots the whole way. If I never see this trail again, it will be to soon.

I didn't think I was ever gonna finish that trail. I was making myself move because I was not sure i would make it before dark. Luckily I did. Then saw the Maddron Bald. A little disappointed. It was not bald. Brush was as tall as me.

Plenty of firewood

The same guys from last night are here tonight. Along with 2 others in hammocks. There was an attempt at a fire. We were able to rescue it and give it a full fire life. The guys were a little impressed with my fire building skills. Im confident their next fire will be grand. Dinner was beef and noodles. Delicious!
