Jon Rappa recently taught two weeks in a row at the Ocala Police Department for the Criminal Interviewing for Road Patrol course. To accommodate both patrol rotations, two separate classes were held, and both groups brought outstanding interaction, professionalism, and engagement throughout the training.

A special thank you to Captain Douglas for bringing the course to Ocala PD, and to everyone who attended and contributed to the success of the classes.

Jon Rappa stepped outside traditional law enforcement training this week to speak at the 25th Annual Emerging Trends in Fraud Investigation & Prevention Conference in Columbus, Ohio.

Hosted by the Central Ohio ACFE Chapter, the conference brought together a mix of law enforcement, prosecutors, and private sector investigative professionals.

Jon’s presentation focused on evidence-based interviewing, and how the provable lie can, at times, be better than a confession.
