Coast Guard Base Alameda MWR offers our authorized patrons a large fitness center/gym, pool, auto hobby shop, recreation lodging, RV storage, athletic fields, and various equipment and event facilities for rent.

Active duty members, or USCG civilian employees, can ride the BART to the Lake Merritt station, and take a shuttle to Coast Guard Island. The shuttle service runs Monday-Friday, 0520-1750. Please direct any questions regarding this service to Ms. BJ Middleton, (510) 437-3957.

Please hurry up & fix the swimming pool boiler! It’s taking forever & many of us military disabled & senior citizens depend on this for our regular exercise. It’s been down for months now and it’s getting to be a bit ridiculous, thank you from all of us!

My fiance is a us coast guard veteran he trained here and lost all his cg photos in a fire how do I go about getting copies for him the year was 1978

Does anyone know what kind of classes the gym offers? Do they have treadmills?
