Project LEAF Project LEAF (Local Edible Alameda Farm) We are actively pursuing additional sites across Alameda.

Project LEAF is a community grassroots organization with the set goal of creating Community Edible Garden's in Alameda, CA. The initiative started as community members of the Wedge neighborhood discussed options for the Old Island High site which sits on Eagle & Everett Streets on the City's East End. Currently we are working with the City of Alameda Recreation and Parks Department in developing a

new 2 acre site on the former Beltline Railway site. If you have access to land or are interested in our efforts, we want to hear from you! We are now an active group of 500+ supporters that see the need for community gardening efforts in Alameda.
