LONGFELLOW PARK INCREASED ACCESS:

This project is part of the City’s ongoing commitment to improving access to neighborhood parks, enhancing safety, and creating welcoming recreational spaces for the community.
Start Date: Summer 2026
Estimated Duration: 4–6 Weeks
Work Hours: Mon–Fri 7:00 AM–5:00 PM

Work To Be Completed
This first phase includes a new ADA-accessible pathway entrance to the park along Haight Ave, improving connectivity throughout.
What Residents Should Expect
During construction:
• Temporary Park area closures
• Construction equipment, noise, and dust during work hours
• Temporary fencing, signage, and adjusted pedestrian access routes

Heads up, swimmers! The pool will be **closed starting today through Friday** for scheduled maintenance and repairs. This closure helps keep our facility safe, clean, and ready for an awesome summer season ahead.

💦 **Reopening:** **Saturday** — back in the water and ready to swim!
