Hello Falcons!

We hope everyone's summer is off to a good start. This email is to notify you that effective July 1, 2025, the dues to join the Franklin PTA for the 2025-26 school year will increase by $1.00 (from $15 to $16 + $1 processing fee). You can join or renew your membership through the Totem Website after July 1st. This is also a reminder that PTA memberships do not auto-renew.

PTA dues are annual membership fees that support the PTA organization and its efforts to advocate for and support children. A portion of the dues each member pays stays with our Franklin PTA unit, while the other portion is forwarded to higher levels (district, state, and national). These dues cover administrative costs, programs, services, resources, and training for PTA members and leaders. We are raising our Franklin dues because the portion that is forwarded for National PTA dues is increasing by $1.00 on July 1st. By raising our dues by $1.00, it will allow us to retain the same amount of dues within our Franklin PTA unit.

Our PTA offers scholarships for memberships should anyone need one for any reason. Please reach out to [email protected] for more information.

Registration for AUSD's 2025-26 TK-6 afterschool programs is now open!

TK-6 families who qualify for the free program have been sent a unique registration link via Parent Square.

Registration is open until the first week of June.

100K Trees is planting 50 trees at Main Street Linnear Park. We’ll have tree planting, seedling giveaways, Bird watching talk by Golden Gate Bird Alliance - Friends of the Alameda Wildlife Reserve, mindfulness yoga stretching, Kenny the Clown, Kids sidewalk chalk drawing and coloring book drawings. Food and refreshments by Taqueria Calafia.

Today! Help out our sister school with a game of mini golf and arcade!

Join us on Thursday March 20th for an evening of fun at Subpar Miniature Golf in Alameda! The PTA will receive 50% of all proceeds from mini golf and arcade game sales between 4-8 PM. Food and drink sales are NOT included. Be sure to purchase arcade cards at the front desk so we are credited with those sales. Bring your friends and family and putt for a great cause!
