Help us give our incoming kindergarten families a warm Franklin welcome! 🎉 We have TWO fun playground play dates coming up—a perfect opportunity for new families to meet future classmates, connect with current Franklin families, and learn about upcoming PTA events. 🛝☀️

🦅💚💛 Thank you, Franklin Falcons, for an incredible school year!

As we wrap up another amazing year, we'd like to congratulate our 5th graders and encourage them to FLY HIGH as they soar into their next adventure. We know you'll do great things, and you'll always be part of the Franklin family!

We also want to extend a heartfelt farewell to our beloved Principal, Lynnette 'Dignon' Chirrick and 3rd grade teacher Jodi Barzelatto. Thank you for the countless ways you've supported, inspired, and cared for our students and community. Your impact on Franklin will be felt for years to come, and you will be deeply missed.

To our returning Falcons and the new families joining our nest next year, we can't wait to welcome you back in the fall!

In Bill Peet’s The Spooky Tail of Prewitt Peacock, the main character is faced with banishment because his tail has just two (very weird) eyespots. But this same strange tail saves his companions (with more conventional plumage) from a tiger. Every year, Franklin 3rd graders in Jodi Barzelatto’s class read this book and set out to duplicate Bill Peet's illustrations where feathers are always flying. With markers, crayons and colored pencils, students capture each peacock's elegant profile. Then they fill the background with tail feathers that explode with color and movement.

Our silent auction remains open until noon tomorrow Friday, March 13. There’s still time to bid on summer camps, one-of-a-kind experiences, classroom art, and Heritage Night student tote bags. “Buy Now” items start at just $15, and new items were added last week.
