Students from the Crockett County High School HOSA organization collected much needed personal hygiene products and miscellaneous family needs for the center. 🩺

HOSA stands for Health Occupations Students of America. Although it originated with that name, it is now formally known as HOSA-Future Health Professionals to reflect its expansion, focusing on training students for healthcare careers through competitions, leadership development, and networking.

The Crockett High School HOSA is sponsored by: Gayla Mayfield, Candy Stallings, and Shay-Lynne Galvan. This organization is a student led organization designed for those young people who wish to have a career in the health care field. HOSA helps students gain leadership- skills, helps students learn how to communicate with others within the health care field and is designed to help student set realistic career goals and reach those goals.

💙 Blue Sunday 💙
April 26, 2026

This Sunday is a time to pray for the many children and families impacted by child abuse.

💙 Pray for children to find safety!
💙 Pray for children to be heard, loved, and to find refuge!
💙 Pray for their strength as they walk through trauma!
💙 Pray for the workers protecting children and the sacrifices they make in their own lives!

As Child Abuse Prevention Month comes to a close, take time to stay informed and continue learning how you can help protect children in your life and in your community.

Things you can do:
🔹Visit your local Child Advocacy Center.
🔹Volunteer and donate! There are always ways to help!
🔹Tell DCS, CPS, prosecutors, law enforcement investigators, medical professionals, victim advocates, forensic interviewers, and trauma therapists thank you for their dedication and hard work. They carry the weight of these stories every day to help protect children!💙
