The City of Alamo, in partnership with Alamo Fire Department, Alamo Police Department, PSJA PD, PSJA ISD and Driscoll Children's Hospital Injury Prevention Department, is hosting a Car Seat Check-Up Event this Friday, 05/08/2026!

Our Alamo Fire Department recently conducted an Extinguisher Training at Alamo Country Club, helping staff learn how to respond quickly and safely in case of an emergency.

These trainings are a great way for businesses to stay prepared and protect both employees and customers.

🚒🔥 Committed to Your Safety 🔥🚒

Following last week’s fire at Trophy Gardens RV Resort, the Alamo Fire Department responded within minutes, quickly containing the fire and preventing further damage to surrounding homes.

Today, residents gathered to recognize that response, and we are grateful for the opportunity to stand with our community.

Fire Chief RC Flores also shared important safety information, including propane gas precautions, what to do if you smell gas, updates on the ongoing investigation, and how residents can stay safe during emergency situations.

We remain committed to protecting lives, promoting safety, and being there when our community needs us most. 💚

Families from across the region explored Fire Safety City, took part in hands on demonstrations, and learned life saving skills from fire marshals and firefighters throughout the Rio Grande Valley.
