We were able to end a fantastic year today with a retirement reception for Ms. Alice Tyler and Ms. Robin Jerman. Two incredible people who shared their huge hearts for the children of ACS for many years!

Family, friends, and the ACS staff were able to share stories, exchange hugs, and extend congratulations! Enjoy retirement, ladies, but visit often!

On Wednesday, Coach Kayla Irvin, Coach Tyler Gadlen and members of the Lady Cavaliers basketball team spoke with our students about the upcoming Lady Cavaliers Basketball Camp scheduled for May 26-27 at CCHS. Students enjoyed hearing from the coaches and players as they shared information about the camp, teamwork and the importance of hard work both on and off the court. We appreciate them taking the time to invest in and encourage our students! ๐Ÿ€

๐ŸŽ‰ Celebrating the 2025-26 ACS A-Team & G-Force! ๐ŸŽ‰

Yesterday, Alamo City School proudly recognized and celebrated this yearโ€™s ACS A-Team & G-Force, a remarkable group of student leaders who have gone above and beyond in spreading appreciation across our school community.

Under the guidance of Mrs. Kim Blackwell, Mrs. Brittany Pittman, Mrs. Wendy Rawson and Mrs. Becky Clark, and with support from Utrust, these students took the lead in planning and organizing meaningful acts of kindness for our staff throughout the year. Throughout the school year, our A-Team and G-Force students went above and beyond to celebrate and appreciate the heroes who make our school great. Through our hero-themed activities, the A-Team honored staff in creative ways, recognizing bus drivers as fearless Vikings, custodians as hardworking firefighters, teachers as inspiring astronauts, and many more. Meanwhile, G-Force spread kindness and encouragement across campus through activities like the BirthDate Challenge, thankful turkeys, Culture Bingo, kindness chains, Christmas cards for local businesses, and Spring Sticker Day. Their efforts helped create a culture where kindness, appreciation, and teamwork were seen and felt throughout our school community.

To celebrate their accomplishments, the A-Team and G-Force enjoyed pizza from Pizza Pro, received either a Leadership or Champion Award, and spent time reflecting on their favorite appreciation moments from the year.

We are so proud of this exceptional group and thankful for the positive impact theyโ€™ve made at ACS. ๐Ÿ’™

๐ŸŽ“ Friends Are Friends Forever โค๏ธ๐Ÿ’™

Our 6th Grade Final Walk and Graduation was an amazing way to end a wonderful school year. Watching our students walk the halls one final time showed just how much they have grown this year โ€” academically, socially, and as leaders.

We are proud of all they have accomplished and know they are ready for the next chapter in their educational journey. Once a Red Devil, always a Red Devil! โค๏ธ๐Ÿ’™
