Please keep the family of Terry Don King in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

Terry Don was not only a Deputy with the Crockett County Sheriff’s Department, but also one of the founding members of the Crockett County Rescue Squad. He served in several officer positions throughout the years and dedicated countless hours of blood, sweat, and tears helping build this organization into what it is today.

His love for this community was undeniable, and his heart was full of kindness, service, and compassion for the people of Crockett County. His impact will never be forgotten, and his legacy will continue to live on through all those he helped and inspired.

We love you, TD. Thank you for your years of dedication and service. Rest easy, brother. 💚

Everyone is invited to court square in Alamo today at 3pm as we honor those who paid the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom.

Please share and we’ll see you there this afternoon for a special Memorial Day Remembrance Ceremony.

Bring your children, a chair, a flag, or make a poster together in memory of these brave men and women. They deserve it all!

Thank you Region 3 & Region 4!

Today, the Tennessee Association of Rescue Squads proudly recognizes the dedicated rescue squads and emergency responders serving Region III and Region IV across Middle and West Tennessee.

From the rolling hills and growing communities of Middle Tennessee to the farmlands, river communities, and rural towns of West Tennessee, these responders continue to answer the call with courage, professionalism, and compassion.

Whether responding to severe weather, vehicle accidents, medical emergencies, technical rescues, or disasters, the men and women serving throughout Regions III and IV remain committed to protecting the citizens and communities of Tennessee every single day.

Their dedication reflects the true spirit of service and sacrifice that defines the rescue service across our state.

To every volunteer, career responder, officer, and support member serving in Regions III and IV — thank you for your unwavering commitment and for all that you do for Tennessee.

National Police Week 2026 is being observed and today we had the opportunity to gift snacks to a few on-duty officers. We appreciate the time and effort they dedicate to serving our community. Tonight, our team will collaborate with this group to ensure a smooth high school graduation ceremony. Please exercise caution around the high school this evening, as there will be increased traffic on Highway 88 and Cavalier Drive.

National Police Week is this week, and we are grateful to work alongside some of the best. CCRS sent a snack basket for the shifts to enjoy. LT Haase with CCRS made a presentation to the available deputies, as others were busy. We appreciate all they do for the county.
