🔥❗REMINDER❗🔥 🔥🚫The Williams County Burn Restriction is in WHEN the North Dakota Rangeland Fire Danger Rating is in the ❗Very High❗ or ‼Extreme‼ category for Williams County and/or a 🚩Red Flag Warning 🚩 has been issued by the National Weather Service for Williams County. TODAY (5/4) we are at the EXTREME level and a Red Flag warning is in effect from 12 pm CT to 9 pm CT.

🚫When the Burn Restriction is in place, burning of the following is not permitted:
❌Campfires
❌The ignition of fireworks (aerial and ground)
❌Controlled burns (i.e., wood piles, tumbleweeds, tree piles, etc.)
❌Cropland/agriculture
❌Garbage/pit
❌Unnecessary off-road motorized travel (anything other than paved or gravel surface).

* AFFECTED AREA, Much of western North Dakota.

* IMPACTS, Any fires that ignite will spread rapidly and become difficult to control or suppress.
