Today, we proudly celebrate our Vela Middle School teachers who have been recognized for their years of dedicated service and commitment to our students and school community. Thank you for the positive impact you make each and every day.

A very special congratulations goes to Ms. R. Arroyo on her retirement. Your dedication, compassion, and countless contributions have touched the lives of so many students, families, and colleagues throughout the years. While we are excited for this new chapter in your life, you will be greatly missed by the entire Vela Middle School family.

More than just breakfast, this special tradition brings together all of our 8th grade teachers to serve one final meal to the students they've encouraged, challenged, and cheered on throughout middle school. ❤️
For Jeremiah and the Class of 2030, this was one last breakfast together before the next chapter begins. As the checklist gets shorter, the memories keep growing. 🎓💫

What an incredible year for our Vela Badgers!
Congratulations to our 7th and 8th Grade Student-Athletes, Coaches, and Teachers for earning the 2025–2026 Athletic Directors Cup Championship. This accomplishment is the result of countless hours of hard work, teamwork, dedication, and a commitment to excellence both in the classroom and in athletics.
Thank you to our coaches for guiding our students, our teachers for supporting them every step of the way, and our student-athletes for representing Vela with pride, character, and determination.
This championship belongs to all of you. Thank you for helping make this a year to remember!
