Jackson Fire Department crews are currently working multiple water rescues.

DO NOT drive through flooded roadways. DO NOT go around barricades. These roads are closed for a reason.

Heavy, slow-moving rain continues across our area and may last past midnight. If you don't have to travel, stay home.

Please be mindful of the risk of flash flooding during any storms that produce heavy rainfall today especially on our county roadways that are prone to flooding very quickly.

There is also a chance for some cold air funnels.
These are not associated with severe weather, rarely touch the ground, and if they do are generally very weak.
