We would like to invite vendors to be apart of National Night Out 2026, which will be held Tuesday, August 4th at the Otero County Fairgrounds pavilion starting at 4:30pm.

National Night Out is an annual community-building event that promotes strong partnerships between residents, local organizations, businesses, and public safety agencies. The event provides an excellent opportunity to strengthen neighborhood connections, foster community engagement, and showcase the valuable services and resources available within our community.

If you are interested to participate as a community partner, vendor, sponsor, or activity host during this years event, please reach out to TBRDA at [email protected] or call 575-437-2210 option 4. There is no vendor fee and the deadline is July 10th for registration.

***🚨Headset Hero Alert 🚨***

Recently, three of our dispatchers worked a high priority incident involving our officers and shots fired. Thanks to their tireless efforts, incredible communication, impeccable teamwork, and heartfelt dedication, no one was injured and service was uninterrupted throughout the County.

We sincerely respect and commend our dispatchers for their unseen work every day, but even more with events like these. It takes a special kind of person to do this job, and TBRDA is what it is thanks to people like them.

🔔 UPDATE- Hwy 70 is now open in both directions

Mescalero Fire crews are working an active fire in the area of the summit. Highway 70 is closed in both directions between the intersection of Hwy 244 and MM 253. Traffic is being rerouted through Route 6 (White Mountain Drive) and Botella. Please use caution in the area due to fire equipment and personnel working!
