Alamosa Elementary K-5 GT students got to take a trip to the cave of winds today!! Shout out to Mr G from the K2 as well as Mr Crane and Mrs Rothermich from the 3-5 who took students exploring and learning for an awesome immersive experience today. Way to go, Mini Moose! 🫎

The 4th Annual AES K-2 Field Day was a success!!!! Huge shout outs to Mr. Chacon and Mr Dom for planning so many awesome events for our kiddos. Thank you to all of our staff for running games, supporting students and simply being awesome. Thank you to the Kiwanis members for grilling an awesome lunch for everyone and A giant thank you to our Child Nutrition Department who served 515 people in 33 minutes. Thank you also to the Alamosa High School NHS students who came to help support stations and a couple of students from the Alamosa Alternative School for supporting as well. Finally, thank you to Alamosa Parks and Rec for allowing us the use of the whole facility!! The gyms, the ice rink and the fields!! It was truly an amazing day for our students and community and we are so so thankful to everyone for helping to make it happen. 🫎 🖤🏀🏒🎽🥅🧗🏼‍♂️
