We have just been notified of another scam going around. If you get called from someone claiming to be from the Wood County Sheriff's Office and stating that you have a warrant hang up it is a scam. Anyone who calls claiming they need money to take care of your warrant is not a police officer. There are a lot of scams going around right now.

We have been made aware today of an ongoing scam call going around. The caller will claim to be from the power ball and ask you to buy gift cards to claim your prize. Do NOT give them gift cards over the phone. It is a scam call. Please hang up and block the number.

Hello everyone, a white female redish/purple hair picked up a set of key that do not belong to her from Alba Pit Stop. The owner of the keys needs their keys returned. The female was driving a silver Toyota Camry with a sticker that says it is what it is on it. The keys need to be returned to the Alba Police Department.
