The Albany Area Chamber of Commerce proudly recognizes RESORA as this week’s Star Business of the Week.

Located on Cypress Pond Plantation, Resora is an oasis getaway set on 1,638 acres near Albany, featuring majestic cypress trees, serene pond views, tranquil walking trails, and an early 19th-century antebellum mansion. With several elegantly furnished lodges, a guest house, and a studio bunk house on an 85-acre lake, Resora offers a unique retreat that feels off the beaten path—yet remains just a short distance from the Albany airport.
Cypress Pond Plantation is historically significant and is used to help represent and promote racial reconciliation and healing in Southwest Georgia. In addition, Resora is also ideal for educational tours and can be rented for business gatherings and personal events.

The Star Business of the Week is presented by WALB News 10 and Fleming & Riles Insurance, with treats provided by Sugar Mama’s Bakery, LLC.
