Have you ever wondered what the interior of our Habitat homes look like?! 🏠 Once selected into our Homeowner Program, our families are able to choose their property lot, floor plan, and facade from the plans we have available. Then, when the home build gets further along, they are also able to choose colors for their exterior paint, interior paint, cabinets, countertops, flooring, and fixtures! 🔨🔩🚿🚪🎨🫟 And to top it off, our homeowners receive a 0% interest 30-year mortgage for their homes!

None of this could be done without YOU!! Our homeowners are so thankful for all of our supporters, donors, and volunteers! If you'd like to donate items to our ReStore, drop off anytime at 2815 Old Dawson Rd, or call 229-446-8199 to schedule a free donation pick-up!

During their time with us, the Synovus team sorted donations, organized items, and cleaned gently used goods to prepare them for our customers. Every small action helps us move closer to building safe, affordable homes for families in our community. 🏡🛠️🔑📫

Home sweet HOMEOWNER 🏡🔑🎉 This week has been the best!! Our next newest homeowner, LaQuan, closed on her Habitat home!

LaQuan has been part of Habitat’s homeownership program for 3 years, working towards her dream home!! She has completed over 300 sweat equity hours, completed Financial Peace University, and paid closing costs for her home. What greater reward than a 30-year 0% interest mortgage on her new home?!

We are always appreciative of Moore, Clarke, DuVall, & Rodgers for caring for our homeowners through the closing process, AND for all of our donors, customers, and supporters for helping us make home a reality for well-deserving families in our community!

What a great day!! 💙🏡🔑 Our first of two home closings this week!

We are so excited to welcome Takilah home! This week, she signed the closing documents for her brand new Habitat home with a 30-year, 0% interest mortgage 🎉 she has worked diligently throughout this process for almost 2 years, completing over 300 sweat equity hours, learning about budgeting through Financial Peace University, and paying the closing costs on her home!

Thank you Moore, Clarke, DuVall, and Rodgers for leading the closing and caring for our Habitat families 🏡💙

Help us congratulate Leon Tumblin, Sr., affectionate known as “Sr.”, on his TEN YEAR ANNIVERSARY with Flint River Habitat for Humanity. 🌟💙

From moving furniture at the ReStore, driving the donation truck for pick-ups, working behind the scenes in stocking, and even acting as our personal Habitat home handyman, Sr. has been an amazing employee, coworker, and friend to the Habitat family these past 10 years— thank you for your commitment and excellence! ⭐️⭐️⭐️

What a joyful day celebrating the dedication of a new Habitat home! 🏡

Welcome home, Pascoe family! We are incredibly grateful to Phoebe Putney Health System for their generous support and the many employees who volunteered their time to help make this home possible. Phoebe's partnership has truly set the pace for what’s possible when community partners step up!

We are so excited for Salisia's new adventure of homeownership -- she and her family worked diligently to complete over 300 sweat equity hours through Habitat and pay closing costs for the home. This week, she signed the contract to purchase her new Habitat home with a 30-year, 0% interest mortgage!

Thank you to our dedicated Flint River Habitat for Humanity staff and volunteers whose hard work and heart brought this vision to life!
