Harvest 2k22 is officially in the books! With that being said we have multiple semi truck loads of moldy/damp bales we cannot use. These bales will still be very useful for livestock bedding, filler feed, and mulch for gardens. If interested, PM us for pricing and pick up options.

Once a field has been completely baled and stacked, it’s time for the Pete’s to roll in and haul off all the straw to the barns to be stored or immediately compressed.

Each standard truck load consists of 8 blocks of bales (6 bales per block) which averages out to 60,000-62,000lbs of straw per load. During this time of the season, we are totaling anywhere from 20-50 truck loads a day to the press or storage barns.

Stacker appreciation post ❗️🚜

After the balers drop hundreds of 1200-1300lb bales in each field, our stacker comes through and loads up 12 at a time to form a nearly 20ft tall line of bales to ensure easy and efficient loading for the semi trucks.

Fun fact: holds the record for longest straw bale stack on this side of the Mississippi (and the other side)

If you haven’t noticed yet, harvest is officially underway in the Willamette Valley!

We have a few positions left on our baling crew which offers lots of hours and a great way to learn about how the agricultural side of our community works and operates. All of our equipment is new and in tip top shape, which means less stress and maximum comfort for our operators (yes, every tractor has A/C and a stereo).

With the crazy world we live in, it’s important to remember how much we have to be thankful for. If we all look at the things we disagree on from a perspective of humility, we will realize that most of these things are irrelevant in the bigger picture and that the only thing keeping us from moving forward is ourselves.

The would like to thank our family members, friends, and neighbors who have or are currently enrolled. We thank you for not only serving our beautiful country, but for actively protecting our freedoms that allow us to agree or disagree in the first place. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

It was a long month and a half for the fam of hauling, spreading/grading, and compacting tons and tons of rock throughout the entire press yard to ensure we had a strong foundation for when the asphalt crew came.

We are very pleased with how everything turned out becuase it really gives the entire place a more professional feel to it all the way around.
No more mud pit areas, pot holes, or even bumps around here; nothing but smooth rides and high quality straw bales 😎🌾

Lastly, major shoutout to for taking the time out of his days to capture and edit all this footage. He’s extremely talented at this stuff loves doing it so make sure to get in contact with him for any videography needs for your business 👍
