January 2020 Albany CERT Community Meeting:
Wednesday, January 29, 2020 at 7pm
Albany Senior Youth Annex - 842 Masonic Ave. - (House next door to the Senior Center)

Come hang out with other members of the Albany CERT Community as we look forward to preparing this year for potential disaster, while reflecting on what we learned last year. Among the topics we will cover are:

- How did the Nov 2019 Albany Hill Evacuation Drill go?
- What’s been happening with the working groups?
- What topics do you want to cover in future 5th Wed Community Meetings?
- How we might revisit/relearn CERT topics using online materials?

On Sunday November 3rd the City of Albany conducted a one-hour Voluntary Evacuation Exercise for over 250 units in the Albany Hill Neighborhood.

Staff from 5 different local agencies took part in this multi-discipline event. Of course the Albany CERT Community was there helping out too. Thanks to everyone for the hard work and dedication to get and keep our community prepared.

Lieutenant Tim Smyser from the Albany Fire Department made a presentation to the Albany CERT Community at the regular 5th Wednesday of the month meeting on Wildfires and the upcoming Albany Hill Evacuation Drill .
