LAST NIGHT: NYSNA nurses from across the North Country joined forces to attend a public hearing and push back on the proposed closure of the maternal health unit at North Star/ Claxton-Hepburn Medical Campus! More than 300 community members were in attendance at the hearing—and everyone spoke on the critical need to stop the closure and keep labor and delivery services open in Ogdensburg.
