Local and state homeless shelters are all facing economic hardship, some to the point that they are facing closing their doors. With the large population of unhoused people in our community, we CANNOT afford to lose ANY shelter here. We ALL need donations and monetary support, but right now, our partner, the Albany Rescue Mission, is in dire need. So, we stand in solidarity with them and ask for your help to keep their doors open. No amount is too small. It's going to take all of us to help make sure that shelter is available to the unhoused. Our Outreach staff was onsite at the Albany Ga Police Department's National Night Out. We were able to partner with some other amazing organizations to make sure our students start the year off informed and ready! Wishing everyone an amazing school year!

Our Outreach staff partnered with Amerigroup and Balancing the Equation for their Back to School Bash! It was a great turnout and an amazing opportunity to share information and goodies before our scholars head back to school! 🏫

It's always an honor to partner with the Dougherty County Police Department. We had the opportunity to share information about all of our programs at the National Night Out. Hundreds of kids and families came out to learn more about the services offered by various agencies and to get some freebies! Looking forward to an amazing start to this school year!

Our team loves any opportunity to interact with kids! Our Basic Center and Transitional Living Program staff were invited to referee the Albany Middle School Staff versus Students Basketball Game. We had a blast!

We want to thank the Georgia District Exchange Club for their years of ongoing financial and volunteer support for our Bridge Shelter! ❤️ Two of our Directors, Corieane Campfield and Erica Jones, had the pleasure of networking and sharing information about all the amazing things going on here in Albany.
