‼️Public Service Announcement‼️

🚨Water Update 🚨

Our water distribution crew has been working tirelessly throughout the night and day to restore water to our community.

I am incredibly proud and grateful for all their hard work and dedication despite the challenging weather conditions.

To squash the rumors, we did receive parts in today. They were the correct parts and exactly what we needed to fix and repair this line.

The next steps are lower a 16 inch main waterline without breaking it. If you have ever moved a 16 inch water line before you know how difficult that is without breaking it.

Then we are having to add 6 to 7 yards of concrete to keep these massive water lines in place. Without concrete they will shift please understand we are dealing with a 16 inch main line.

We just finished our conversation with IMI concrete company and they are mixing the special batch of high density concrete now.

We are in hopes this repair will be complete sometime tonight .

I kindly request that the community remain patient. Please know that we are fully committed to resolving this matter as swiftly as possible.

I will keep the public informed as we gain more insights into our situation and the estimated completion timeframe.

Respectfully,
Mayor, James F. Bray
