🏕️🌊 Summer may be officially over, but we couldn’t let the season pass without sharing some memories from our camping and whitewater trip to Nantahala!

This trip is always one of our staff’s favorite adventures, and this year was no exception! From camping under the stars, to taking on the rapids, it was a trip filled with excitement, laughter, and plenty of memories that we hope the kids will carry with them long after summer is over. 🌲🛶

We want to give a huge thank you to all of the parents who trusted us with their kids and allowed them to be part of our Outdoor Challenge Program this summer. We truly appreciate your support and the opportunity to spend the summer creating these experiences with your kids!

Now that the backpacks are packed and the school year is underway, we hope everyone has an amazing and successful school year! 📚✏️

We’ll see you all again next summer with another fun-packed schedule full of adventure, exploration, and new memories! ☀️🏕️🌊

☀️ Summer may be winding down, but we couldn’t let it end without sharing a little about our Boys Week with the Outdoor Challenge Program! 🏕️🌲

Our Boys Week is designed for boys ages 10–15 and is always an adventure and this year was no exception!

The weather definitely threw us a few curveballs throughout the week and forced us to change up our plans, but our crew didn’t let that stop the fun. We made the most of every opportunity and packed the week full of adventure, exploration, and plenty of memories.

🥾 We hiked and explored at Rock Creek Park and Morrow Mountain State Park.
🤸‍♂️ We burned off some energy at Urban Air in Mint Hill.
🛶 We went canoeing and swimming on Lake Tilley.
🎣 We got in some fishing, swimming, and archery along the way.
🏕️ And when our plans to camp at Lake Norman State Park were rained out, we improvised and had an unforgettable “campout” right here in the office!

Sometimes the best adventures are the ones you didn’t plan for!

All in all, we couldn’t have asked for a better week with an awesome group of boys. We’re already looking forward to next summer and all the adventures it will bring! 🌲☀️🛶
