The Charlotte Regional Business Alliance is conducting its biennial Manufacturing Labor Survey for the Charlotte Region, and we encourage your participation.

This survey is a valuable resource for manufacturers to assess wages and benefits and understand how they align with peer organizations across the region. The survey is comprehensive and includes questions related to operations, employment wages, workforce turnover, benefits and bonuses, as well as hiring challenges and opportunities. Aggregate results will be shared with companies that complete the survey and provide contact information.

Please note the following important details:
· The survey contains 66 questions. We ask that respondents complete the survey to the best of their ability, providing as many complete responses as possible.
· Responses may be saved and completed later. To ensure your progress is retained, please save your responses before exiting the survey, disable any cookie blockers, and return using the same computer and browser. Detailed instructions are provided within the survey.

🚀 Calling Aspiring Entrepreneurs in Stanly County!

The Stanly Startup Pitch Competition is now accepting applications! This dynamic training and pitch program is designed to help early-stage entrepreneurs turn strong business ideas into viable, fundable ventures.

📅 Program Dates: January 12 – April 27, 2026
💰 Funding Awards: $2,500 total
• 1st Place: $1,500
• 2nd Place: $700
• 3rd Place: $300

Supported by the NACCE Everyday Entrepreneur Venture Fund, selected participants will receive expert-led business training, one-on-one counseling, pitch development support, and a clear pathway from idea refinement to an investor-ready presentation.

Up to 30 entrepreneurs will be selected to begin training, with top finalists pitching live before regional business leaders at the April 27 competition and award ceremony.

Whether you are launching a new venture or sharpening your strategy, this is a high-impact opportunity to accelerate your business and join a growing community of local innovators.
