The Uniform Retailers Association (URA) is a trade organization whose members are independent retailers in the uniform industry; primarily offering hospital scrubs and accessories. The members are located all across the United States, Canada and several other countries. They operate hundreds of stores and have estimated annual sales in the millions of dollars. The URA was founded in 2007 by a smal
l and forward thinking group of independent uniform retailers. They saw the need for an industry trade show specifically geared to the retailer. Later that same year, the Uniform Retailers Association hosted its’ first annual trade show in New Orleans. If you are new to the business and are about to open your first retail establishment, or you are an owner with several stores, you will find many members of URA in the same position. A very strong characteristic of the URA organization is the exchange of information among members so that all may improve their operations, increase profits and prosper.
