Vince was born on February 23rd, 1924 and passed away on August 25th, 2026 at the age of 102

August 26, 2026 ~ On behalf of the Albers Commercial Club, Jenna Kueper, Albers Commercial Club President, gratefully accepted a $5,000 donation from ExxonMobil. The donation will be used for funding projects and improvements in the Village of Albers.

Dolly Parton believed every child should know how to read and launched her Illumination Library advocating literacy around the world. In an effort to follow her example, we are launching 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten this fall at our library. We encourage anyone who has young children in their lives to get started. If you read one book to young ones every day or night for 3 years you can achieve the 1,000 books! Let's get this going in our community and surrounding area.

ATTENTION ALBERS RESIDENTS AND DRIVERS! A new crosswalk at the intersection of North Bertha Street and State Route 161 has been installed. Please be aware of pedestrians and increased traffic entering/exiting Dollar General.

Thank you Blake for striping the crosswalk and taking such great care of our streets!
