We’re saddened to hear of the passing of Dolly Parton, a beloved musician, storyteller, and philanthropist who brought joy to generations.

As a library, we’re especially grateful for Dolly’s lifelong dedication to sharing the love of reading. Through her Imagination Library, she helped make books accessible to children right here in Freeborn County, and around the world.

Her legacy of kindness, generosity, and a love of stories will continue to inspire us. Thank you, Dolly, for reminding us just how powerful a book can be.❤️

We’ve compiled a list of Dolly’s books, along with books that celebrate her remarkable life and legacy. Explore the collection below.
