Feeling bolder about getting more active in the community again now that the vaccine is making the rounds? Consider joining the Friends of Albion District Library Board. They'd sure love your input and help. The next board meeting is scheduled for April 12 at 2 PM. This is usually the meeting that considers new officers and board members, so it's perfect timing if you're feeling adventuresome and looking for something new to do. The following link explains the purpose of the board and its importance to the library it serves. We hope you'll consider it. Stay safe and enjoy the sunshine.

2020 Theme: Find Your Place at the Library/Find the Library at Your Place

The theme for National Library Week, “Find your place at the library,” was chosen months ago before the emergence of a global pandemic forced most libraries to temporarily close their buildings. But you can still find your place at the library because libraries are open for business online, providing the virtual services and digital content their communities need more than ever. You can access ebooks, movies, music, video games, virtual storytimes and activities, and so much more — all from the the comfort of your home. Also, you could give your home library a little attention - anyone still have books they haven't gotten around to reading yet? Share your favorite read during quarantine here!
