Check out the event map and start planning your day at the refuge. Here are just a few of the things you can experience throughout the event:

🐦 Join a bird walk at 8am at Swallow Hollow Trail & 11am at Headquarters Trail
🎶 Experience Rhythms of the Refuge with the Haudenosaunee Social Dancers at 12pm
🏹 Try your hand at hoverball archery
🦅 Stop by our Eagle Watch at the Cayuga Overlook 10am-2pm
🎣 Practice your skills with our backyard bass casting game
🌎 Meet local environmental partners and take part in hands-on activities
🎨 Create your own watercolor painting at our paint station
🍿 Grab a bite from food trucks including More Than A Mouthful and Papa's Popcorn
🌿 And don’t forget to explore! Spring is one of the best times to experience the trails and overlooks throughout the refuge, as well as nearby adventures at the Tonawanda Wildlife Management Area and Oak Orchard Wildlife Management Area.
🚗Pleas drive slow! Public Parking is available in our maintenance gravel lot to the left of the Visitor Center or along Casey Road. Accessible parking is available along the driveway leading up to the Visitor Center or along the tree-line in the maintenance lot.

Today is our second day for our Tree and Shrub sale at the County DPW. We have limited stock left which include: Wildlife Apple Tree Packs, Sugar Maple, Black Walnut, Black Cherry, Ninebark, and Witch Hazel!

Today from 8-6pm our staff will be at the Orleans County DPW for our annual Tree and Shrub sale pickups! Pictured below are leftover stock that is still available for purchase. Don’t see what you want? Head over to Niagara County Soil and Water Conservation District to view stock left from their sale! Happy Arbor Day and happy planting everyone! 🌲

It's time! Tree Sale pick up days are this Friday from 8-6pm and Saturday from 8-12pm at the Orleans County DPW. 🌲 Forgot to place an order or wish you had ordered more trees? There is still time! Remaining stock for our deciduous seedlings/ shrubs and wildlife apple tree packs are available now through Saturday.
