In Loving Memory of K-9 Ike.

It is with deep respect that we announce the passing of retired Police K-9 Ike of the Noble County Sheriff’s Department.

K-9 Ike served with distinction alongside his handler, Sgt. Carey Coney, forming a bond built on trust, courage, and unwavering dedication. Throughout his career, Ike played a vital role in protecting the community—in drug enforcment.

More than a working dog, Ike was a loyal partner and companion. Following his retirement, he enjoyed the peace and comfort he so greatly earned.

K-9 Ike’s legacy lives on in the community he faithfully served.

He is survived by his handler and partner, Sgt. Carey Coney.

The Noble County Sheriff's Department participated in the annual Bowl For Kids Sake, Big Brothers Big Sisters event held at KVegas Bowling in Kendallville. The Sheriff's department raised money for the event, and was given additional donations by Natalie Axel to help support the cause. The Sheriff's Department was able to field two teams with employees and family. Everyone did a great job bowling, we all have to admit, Jarvell Woodfin carried the teams!
