Vehicle chase:

On October 27, 2019, at approximately 3pm, the Edwards Co. K9 Deputy attempted to conduct a traffic stop and the vehicle fled. The vehicle entered the Albion City limits and proceeded down side streets. The driver of the vehicle then proceeded outside the city limits where he abandoned the vehicle in a small patch of woods. K9 Zorro was deployed in an attempt to track the suspect. Shortly after, the suspect was taken into custody. We would like to thank the Albion Police Dept. for their assistance.

The K-9 unit would like to remind you that it is a division of the Edwards County Sheriffs Department and for further details refer to their page. We provide details relating to K9 Zorro and limited details on incidents.
