June 23rd is National Hydration Day!

We may not be experiencing the heat like we did last week, or what is to come later this season, but today stands as a reminder of the importance of hydration!

"The human body contains more than 60 percent water. Maintaining that balance while training is a challenge. And doing it during the summer months is a practice that must be consistent. Becoming overheated or dehydrated can lead to heat stroke and possibly death."-National Day Calendar

June is National Safety Month.
Safety starts at home with consumer safety. Its important to check for product recalls often, monthly or with seasonal changes. For summer items like pool equipment, pool toys, flotation devices, and even pool and patio furniture should be reviewed to help protect families from preventable injuries and safety hazards.

June is National Safety Month and a perfect time to prioritize safety preparedness.

Whether your are buying one or building your own, having a proper first aid kit should be one of the first steps in creating a safer home, ensuring essential supplies are ready for emergencies. A well-stocked kit provides essential supplies for treating cuts, burns, or other injuries, increasing safety, preparedness, and peace of mind at home, work, or during travel. When building a kit, you can customize it to the needs of your family - making a kit together can also become a meaningful family activity that promotes safety awareness.
