Do you enjoy working with youth, leading activities, and making a positive impact in our community? The City of Albion Recreation Department is currently seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team for the upcoming recreation season!

We are hiring for five part-time/seasonal positions:

✅ Recreation Coordinator
✅ Recreation Team Leader (K–6th Grade)
✅ Recreation Team Leader Assistant (K–6th Grade)
✅ Recreation Team Leader (7th–12th Grade)
✅ Recreation Team Leader Assistant (7th–12th Grade)

These positions offer a great opportunity to help create safe, engaging, and memorable experiences for Albion youth through recreation programs, sports, activities, field trips, and more.

‼️Attention homeowners, renters, businesses, and private nonprofits - did your property acquire damages from the March 6, 2026 tornado? Need financial support to repair those damages? ⬇️

The Small Business Administration is offering a low-interest, long-term loans to homeowners, renters, businesses, and private nonprofits to cover any March 6 tornado damage not covered by insurance or another source. In addition to disaster loans for physical damage, they are also offering working capital loans for small businesses and private nonprofits that had a drop in income because of the tornadoes and cannot meet their monthly financial obligations.

Albion Aquatics is back!

🏊Swim lesson registration with the Y will open on Wednesday the 3rd, with sessions beginning on the 16th.

💧Starting Tuesday the 9th, Aqua Aerobics will return on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:15–7:00 PM.

At this time, lap swim is unavailable due to limited lifeguard coverage. A lifeguard class will be held on the 10th, 11th, and 12th. Once that course is completed and additional staff are ready, a schedule will be created for lap swim.
