🚨STORY TIME 🚨
Some of yall dont know that my brother is currently an Officer in the Peruvian Navy. Some of yall didnt know I was born and raised in Lima, Peru. Ever since I was a kid i dreamed in serving on an Aircraft Carrier. In 2015 one of my dreams came true. I went on a Souther Seas deployment and arrived to Lima Peru. I never thought i would be on an Aircraft Carrier, neither did i think i would sail on a Carrier to my native country. This explain my face in the picture, minutes before this picture was taken the United States Ambassador talked about the great relationship between the United States and Peru and this is when i got emotional. In the picture is our current CNO, Admiral Lisa Franchetti accompanied by the Commanding Officer of the George Washington (CVN-73), the US Ambassador, my brother and myself. I will never forget this day. October 3rd, 2015

Today was bittersweet, last time i saw the Theodore Roosevelt (CVN-71), I flew out of the catapults to Bahrain and then back to the states to start my journey in Navy Recruiting. I took my son so that he could see where Daddy worked before he was born. I miss the ship life, I miss the comradery and I miss being in the flight deck.
