Sgt Duran was born and raised in Las Vegas, NM. He enlisted in the Marine Corps July 2014. He enlisted to get out of NM and travel the world.

As your recruiter, he will sit down with you and show you the various ways the Marine Corps can help you become a successful individual.

Operation Semper Fi

U.S. Marine Corps veteran Ronald L. Green, the 18th Sergeant Major of the Marine Corps, participates in a poolee function in efforts of Operation Semper Fi at Calf Pasture Park in Cedar Hill, Tx, Dec. 11, 2021. Operation Semper Fi is a call of action to reconnect Marine veterans and to build on the pride they have for the Corps.

The Marines of participated in a food drive at the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church today to support local families in need this holiday season.

The Marines helped fill hundreds of bins with food and other household necessities for those less fortunate in the Albuquerque area.

Last month, the Marines and Poolees of RSS Albuquerque North held their monthly pool function. Each month, Recruiting Stations across the nation hold a pool function to develop members of our delayed entry program both physically and mentally.

Albuquerque North not only played dodgeball as a pool but also discussed the importance of the Marine Corps Birthday. While discussing the Marine Corps Birthday, the poolees of Albuquerque North also learned about the importance of tradition in the Marine Corps.

The purpose of the Naval Reserve Officers Training Corps (NROTC) Program is to educate and train qualified men and women with the fighting spirit to serve as commissioned officers. As the largest single source of Navy and Marine Corps officers, the NROTC Scholarship Program plays an important role in preparing mature young men and women for leadership positions in an increasingly technical Marine Corps.

High school students pursuing an NROTC scholarship should begin the application process in the spring of their junior year. By making college more accessible through scholarships, the NROTC program will allow you to devote your time to excelling in your studies.

During the game, members of our Delayed Entry Program recited their Oath of Enlistment on the field as a demonstration of their commitment to the Marine Corps and their country.
