Rep. Gabe Vasquez announced more than $3.4 million in federal funding to help New Mexico law enforcement combat gun violence, drug trafficking, substance abuse, su***de, and other violent crimes.

The investment will support state, local, and Tribal agencies with data-driven public safety strategies designed to reduce crime and strengthen community safety.

The announcement builds on a broader record of securing federal funding for law enforcement technology, youth programs, safer infrastructure, and crime prevention efforts across New Mexico.
