Tired of the same old political gridlock? 🛑 The Forward Party isn’t just another political party—it’s the bridge to real solutions. Let’s move past the division and actually get things done.

I'm A Mayor. And A Forwardist.

I'm Jay Doyle, and I was elected as Mayor of Georgetown in 2025, running as a candidate of the Forward Party.

I took an oath to serve my community, so I don't take words like “leadership” and “public service” lightly. I ran for office because I believe government should be a force for good – a force to bring people together, solve problems and build a better future.

But the hard truth is that the system isn't working the way it should. The incentives in politics reward division over dialog, extremism over methodical problem solving. Performative outrage gets the clicks and the eyeballs while “compromise” and “working across the aisle” must be avoided if we hope to be re-elected. And that's why I'm a Forwardist.

The Forward Party represents the kind of politics I believe in – one that puts voters' preferences over party loyalty. I believe government should be about solutions and not about the rigid partisanship that we see in too many governing bodies today.

Being a Forwardist doesn't mean I've abandoned my principles – just the opposite. It allows me to do my job based on my values and principles instead of a party platform designed to “beat the other side.” I'm spending my time bridging divides, elevating and representing my constituents. And I feel pretty good about that. I'm proud to be a Forwardist.

The two-party system is broken. It’s time for a change to something that works for you.

We are trapped in a cycle of division where the two major parties care more about winning the next election than solving problems for working New Mexicans.

But don’t give up hope. The only way to truly fix our democracy is to build something new from the ground up.

✨ Welcome to a new kind of political movement. ✨ Forward is the party of independent thinkers and coalition builders. We aren’t here to play partisan games—we are here to problem-solve, unite, and reform our democracy so it actually works for everyone.

But to make this vision a reality, we need to get Forward candidates on the ballot. You can find out more about our candidates on our website, and more candidates are joining every week--with new announcements soon.

📝 How You Can Help Right Now:
Our candidates are working around the clock to secure the 15,000 signatures they need to run for statewide office, and they can’t do it without you.
• The Goal: 15,000 valid signatures in two races with no competition without our candidates.
• The Deadline: June 22nd.
• The Mission: Give voters a real, independent choice on the general election ballot.

Don’t you want to elect candidates NOT tied to partisan talking points? If you are tired of the yelling and ready for action, gathering signatures is the first step. Our team will be petitioning at public events this weekend and next week, especially Primary Election Day, June 2nd, at polling locations near you. We need your help!

Let’s build a bridge to a better future, together. And remember, independent (declined to state) voters can vote for the first time in this primary. Let’s show everyone non-partisan voters can control election outcomes by showing up at the polls!

At a moment when democracy reform is becoming harder to separate from partisan warfare, New Mexico’s newest political party is organizing itself around open primaries, redistricting reform, legislative modernization and voting access.
