Joy Junction is New Mexico's largest emergency shelter in the state that keeps families together.
(151)
Since conception, Joy Junction has functioned off three main principles:
1) Donations only - Joy Junction accepts no government funds, and is not a United Way member. Everything is provided by a combination of God's graces and the generosity of committed supporters.
2) Everyone and anyone - Joy Junction provides services to anyone in need, regardless of race, religion, gender and orientation.
3) F
amilies first - Joy Junction is the only shelter in the state, as well as crossing surrounding borders, that when a family arrives they are kept together.
