CCFNM families & staff had the honor of meeting Albuquerque's Mayor Tim Keller to receive a Proclamation recognizing September as Childhood Cancer Awareness Month.

The CCFNM families were joined by our Executive Director (Diana Trujeque) and a couple of CCFNM Board Members (Melissa Deaver-Rivera and Hyatt Umesh) along with UNMH/PRES oncology doctors. Help us fight Childhood Cancer!

CCFNM is proud of everyone who was involved in the short film "VAX"

The film is the result of an exercise from an acting class for kids, who have, or are survivors of cancer. The class was taught by veteran acting coach and filmmaker, Stephen Burhoe, at his Players Craft Acting Studio in Rio Rancho, New Mexico.

TUNE IN tomorrow 6pm PT! CCFNM will be going LIVE from Hollywood, CA. Children’s Cancer Fund of New Mexico announces youth film project world premiere.

VAX, a short film produced as part of a youth outreach acting class, will premiere June 23 2024, , at the prestigious Dances With Films Los Angeles, Film Festival. The festival is a top ten North American film festival, and the only top ten festival actually in Hollywood. The Premiere will take place at the Historic TCL Chinese Theatre. The film is the result of an exercise from an acting class for kids, who have, or are survivors of cancer. The class was taught by veteran acting coach and filmmaker, Stephen Burhoe, at his Players Craft Acting Studio in Rio Rancho, New Mexico.
