Crisis Intervention Services - Crisis Intervention Services provides 24-hour support, advocacy, crisis intervention, resources, referrals to anyone affected by sexual violence. Crisis Services responds to approximately 2000 calls to the hotline per year and 600 forensic exams per year. Staff and volunteer advocates are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to provide in-person crisis intervention, support, advocacy, information, and accompaniment to the Sexual Assault Nurse Examiners (SANE) program, and law enforcement agencies. Our Crisis Intervention advocates respond to several thousand crisis calls annually. We provide assistance to hundreds of survivors at the SANE unit.
Counseling Services - We offer an intake appointment for counseling for anyone impacted by sexual violence. This service is for anyone 13 years of age or older. We do not discriminate based on gender identity, race, ethnicity, socio-economic status or immigration status. We work with individuals who are survivors of sexual assault, sexual harassment and sexual abuse. All services provided by counseling are 100% free and strictly confidential.
Community Education and Outreach - Community Education & Outreach provides age-appropriate, theory based curriculums to educational institutions and one-time or ongoing presentations for professionals. Staff engage with an average of 5,000 community members every year in conversations related to services and programs, sexual violence, consent, healthy relationships and so much more. Sexual Violence preventionists conduct workshops and presentations for a variety of different community populations including, but not limited to, youth and students, clinical and behavioral staff, law enforcement, military personnel, preschool staff, university and college students, church groups, and hospitality service providers.
