On Behalf of the Chamber and Staff I welcome you to our page. We are a non-profit organization made up of more than 390 professionals, Tribal Entities, Governments, Small Businesses, Organizations, Artisans and Individuals. Our vision at the Chamber continually promotes the development of a healthy, self-sufficient American In

dian Economy, both on and off the reservation. Our mission is both simple and powerful: “To help Native People achieve successful economic development initiatives while incorporating, strengthening and building upon Tribal Values.”

We have exciting monthly and annual events throughout the year which provide you the power of networking and collaboration with other business and organizations! We collaborate and work with many of our Chamber Members and Resource Partners and always promote local economic development. Continuing with our information sessions on the Laboratory's move to an all-new digital procurement system, join LANL’s Procurement Transformation Management Office Manager, Rachel Schroeder November 19 at a free virtual webinar hosted by the American Indian Chamber of Commerce of New Mexico.

Rachel will discuss the Lab’s vision for this change, along with next steps and actions for suppliers during the new system roll-out. Adoption of the new systems will enable suppliers to interact with LANL electronically and in real-time throughout the procurement process, bringing big benefits. Learn what it takes to successfully grow your existing business -- at no cost! The SBA is now accepting applications for its Emerging Leaders program. Register here: https://www.sba.gov/about-sba/organization/sba-initiatives

The program is open to small business owners and executives who have:
annual revenues of at least $250K
been in business at least 3 years
at least one employee other than self

The 7-month course offers approximately 100 hours of training and provides the opportunity for small business owners to work with experience professionals.

This training is designed to accelerate growth and support business expansion. The curriculum delivers advanced training and provides strategies to help owners access new avenues of capital. It also offers practical tools for business development. It surrounds participants with a network of government resources and local business leaders.

Start date: late March or April, TBD. Course is 3 hours per session with 13 sessions held every other week. Location in Albuquerque but TBD.
