Attention New Mexico National Guard and Reserve members approaching retirement: Your retirement pay and benefits do not begin automatically. If you are nearing age 60 or your reduced retirement eligibility age, this briefing will help you understand and access the benefits you have earned.

The New Mexico Department of Veterans' Services (NMDVS) is sharing this opportunity and will be on-site to assist attendees with state benefits and services. NMDVS staff will also provide an overview of programs and resources available to veterans and their families.

The "Navigating the Gray Area" briefing will cover retired pay applications, retirement points management, Survivor Benefit Plan (SBP) elections, TRICARE options, Gray Area benefits, and more.

• 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
