Bus 1907 wore their Mask today...

Hey Albuquerque Fam. If you are wondering what’s up with all this “Mask on the Bus” business, we can break it down real quick. If you wear a mask, social distance and stay home, we can help slow the spread of COVID 19 in our city. So yes, the bus is a visible reminder. It’s fun, but it’s a serious signal of our current situation. Mask up.

Bus 1917 decided to wear their Mask today.

What's up Albquerque Fam? Just another reminder to keep those Masks Up! The situation is real, and we want our riders, drivers and all of you to be safe everyday. Bus 1917 decided that they wanted to show the central corridor what was really up with it...so they put on a mask for the day. We'll get through this together Fam, but let's keep it real in the meantime and keep those Masks Up. Bueno Bye! #onealbuquerque

We want to wish our Director Danny Holcomb a super Happy Birthday! He’s been steering the ship through the current pandemic and we are so lucky to have such a dedicated public servant at the helm. Over the last few months, he’s directed the distribution of 25,000 masks to Transit Riders, implemented screening and protection of staff and drivers at our locations and on our buses and he didn’t lose any more hair while doing it. Happy Birthday Boss, and thanks for keeping us moving!

Being a Sun Van driver

“I loved driving the Sun Van. If you’ve ever had experiences working with the differently abled population, they are so grateful and so loving. There was always so much joy to be in the van. There was laughing and singing and people being so grateful for the ride that you gave them:)”
(Sandra Saiz- former Sun Van driver, Current Director of Operations)
Sun Van operates a share-a-ride, origin to destination, accessible service. This service is sometimes called ADA Paratransit Service because it is provided as part of ABQ RIDE’s effort to meet the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990. Hey Transit Fam! Thank you to everyone for participating in our employee survey. Congrats to Mr. Sandoval the first gift card winner! Everyone who had taken it by last Friday was entered into a drawing for a $30 Walmart gift card. But then PJ Tatum got all hype and decided to donate another $20 gift card. Special shout out goes to Rosalind Moreno for helping get people to take the survey and Katherine Anzures for pushing it out at the very beginning. Now we know what 143 people do for fun. There are also a lot of massage therapist working here. The top four astrological signs are Aquarius, Cancer, Libra and Taurus and the best answers when asked “what’s your sign” were idk, the cross and Stop. If you don’t get the joke…it’s ok. It’s a bad joke. Keep filling out the survey, we may have bad jokes but we have good prizes.

Only 2 Buses on Route 10 Northfourth? only 2 gps on.
Only 2 Active Buses on route 10 North 4th!!!😎🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸👎👎👎👎👎
Hi, who do I talk to about the constant issues involving buses on the 155 route? Buses are constantly 5 to 6 minutes early from their scheduled time and when I make an attempt to rush to a bus stop that the drivers are EARLY to, the drivers make no attempt to stop or wait. Just now, I'm sitting at the bus stop waiting and the bus shows up five minutes early. Even my bus tracking app says it is four minutes away. By the time I react and gather my things, the driver has pulled away and refuses to stop. I get that it's on me to pay attention but it is several minutes before the expected time! I only seem to experience this issue on the 155 line and it happens constantly.
June 19, 2020, about 10am, I just checked cabq.gov/transit and find new, up-to-date information about Suntran bus service😄😃😂s! Now I can go somewhere around town other than the one grocery store on west Central! Hooray! Thank you!
I used a #66 on June 11. Saw a small sign about some schedules changing soon, improving, later this month. Nothing about that here on FB or on Suntran website. If I see sign again, I'll take a picture of it as that may be the only way I can get the info I need to prepare.
Oh! Also it would be nice to know when Suntran hopes to resume anything close to "normal" weekday service. I haven't done any real shopping since early March, only going to one grocery store (on Central) via bus. I'd like to go other places w/o having to wait a long time for a bus to come...
It would be nice if Suntran would let riders know if there will be any delays or even closed bus stops downtown after the young fascist attacked businesses along Central last night (5/31). The stops at the Library and at 5th-6th on Gold are of particular interest to me, but folks may also wish to know if the ATC is effected. There is zero info about this on Suntran's website, and tweeting a request was probably useless, so trying here is the only thing I can think of that may share the info far and wide... if you let us know.
Good morning. I was wondering why abq ride is not enforcing social distancing on city buses. This morning on my ride to work, the bus was jam packed. And a lot of people didnt look like they were riding it for a necessity. Also some people still not wearing masks.
Happy Earth Day:)...this is great news!
I am worrried.I have had bus drivers tell me all buses will shut own.if the coronavirus rates go up even further. There are people in this town, who don't have cars, and rely on the bus to get food, prescriptions, etc. My hope is that you will continue to keep at least the 66 running indefinitely. Also, some drivers are refusing to accept fares. Will every bus adopt this policy?
