This includes excessive contact, monitoring online activity, tracking location, demanding passwords, and hacking into accounts, all of which can be considered forms of digital abuse and stalking. At 17, one of our clients endured an abduction and assault at the hands of her ex-boyfriend. New Mexico Legal Aid’s attorney represented her in court, resulting in a two-year Order of Protection. This victory gave her the safety and peace of mind to focus on her future.
