DVRC NM Domestic Violence Help Line - 505.248.3165 All of our services are safe, confidential, culturally-sensitive and free.

Domestic Violence Resource Center (DVRC) provides victim advocacy services to adult and child victims of domestic violence. We have a team of highly trained advocates. As first responders in cooperation with law enforcement, the staff ensure that victims receive crisis intervention, linkages to community services and act as a voice for the victim. We provide one-on-one advocacy working in partners

hip with the survivor to identify and address a wide variety of needs. Victim Advocates work with the Albuquerque Police Department and the Bernalillo County Sheriffs Department to offer services 24 hours a day for victims of domestic violence, elder abuse and sexual assault.

This includes excessive contact, monitoring online activity, tracking location, demanding passwords, and hacking into accounts, all of which can be considered forms of digital abuse and stalking. At 17, one of our clients endured an abduction and assault at the hands of her ex-boyfriend. New Mexico Legal Aid’s attorney represented her in court, resulting in a two-year Order of Protection. This victory gave her the safety and peace of mind to focus on her future.

Help us continue standing by survivors like her by donating at givebutter.com/nmladv. If you or someone you know needs help, call 1-877-974-3400.
