West Mesa Aquatic Center is closed to the public tomorrow. The Aquatics division invites all parks and recreation employees to take advantage of a free pool day! We have a DJ, swimming, waterslides, and three food trucks! We are looking forward to seeing all of our fellow employees there!
Day two down, one more to go! This weekend has been the largest meet of the year at the West Mesa Aquatic Center. It’s the Roadrunners Of Albuquerque Aquatic Club’s long course meet running two sessions every day; Friday, Saturday and Sunday. We are seeing about 800 individuals in attendance each day! With 17 teams competing (5 from CO and 1 from TX) this is one for the books!

The season opener for Metro Leage Swimming is under way this morning. South Valley Megalodons host West Mesa Piranhas in an all-relays dual. Bernalillo County Parks, Recreation and Open Space hosting their first meet since 2019 here at South Valley Pool. Swim fast!

Reminder! Metro League Aquatics is hosting its annual water polo clinic! Ages 6-14 will participate in the first City-organized water polo activity since 2019! All experience levels are welcome and encouraged to attend, just bring your suit and towel. There will be a parent meeting during the event.
