We hope you have your "WOW!" ready! The amazing families, students and staff at Manzano Day School blew us away! The entire 2nd grade decorated 80!! bags with sweet holiday messages and filled them with toiletries, essentials, and books.

That's not all! They also fulfilled a wish on every child's holiday list at Saranam.
What a phenomenal school community inspiring such beautiful hearts of care. Thank you!!!!

There are some pretty amazing citizens at Albuquerque Academy! They hand-picked special gifts for both the moms and the kids in our program this year. It means so much to be able to celebrate the holiday with these special community friends!

You know the phrase, "it takes a village"? Well, our village included a whole school this year! Thanks to all the families at Double Eagle Elementary School for hosting a VERY successful drive for baby items.

We certainly need it this year with so many babies in our program. They collected several carts full of baby items and tons of gift cards for diapers. Their donations filled up our store room!

We feel so lucky to have you all as part of our village!

It's Giving Tuesday and I have a great organization I am supporting this year. I would love for you to get involved also. This year I am doing a book drive for Saranam.
For families experiencing homelessness in New Mexico, success starts at Saranam. Their proven, two-year program provides everything they need to break the cycle of generational homelessness and achieve long-term stability and independence.
They offer housing, food, education, and training. But the residents receive so much more: a place of refuge, a supportive community, help healing, and hope for a brighter future for themselves and generations to come.

We can't let this week go by without saying thank you to those who made it very special.

🦃🍂Big gobbely thanks to Del Norte Rotary Club and for donating SUPER generous baskets filled to the brim with all the fixings for a delicious Thanksgiving meal. It was quite literally, a carload of food!

🫓🍽We also had a phenomenal time celebrating the holiday with some alumni who joined us for a potluck. It was so good to catch up and hear about the amazing things they are doing.

Our hearts (and bellies) are full of thanks!

In the spirit of gratitude, we are so thankful for places like Roadrunner Food Bank of New Mexico. They provide such a vital service for our community, making sure people and families have access to nutritious, filling food.

We spent some time volunteering as a team recently -we packed enough rice for 400 meals!- and were so grateful for the experience.

They are having their annual letter carrier's food drive this Saturday, November 19. Simply leave a bag of nonperishables by your mailbox and it will get delivered to RRFB.

Move over Monet, we have some great artists here! Super huge shout out to the students at Albuquerque Academy who painted some beautiful signs for our playground.

Their designs perfectly complement the murals painted by National Labs last month. Thank you everyone for making our play space so fun and encouraging!

Having a car is a huge asset and maintaining it correctly can prevent catastrophic expenses. We are so grateful that they offered this amazing service so our families' cars can remain in good, working order.

It is a huge leap of faith to join Saranam- one that requires a huge amount of determination and courage. However, it is a chance that pays off when families leave amazed at what they have accomplished. We know that the only limits on our potential are the ones we self-impose.
