Today we joined Mayor Keller in announcing the demolition of 5 problem properties around Albuquerque.

Since Code Enforcement involvement at these properties, APD has responded to 321 calls for service and AFR responded to an additional 20 more.

We're stepping up for the well-being of our neighborhoods by removing these crime-ridden properties which will no longer pose risk to public safety and health.

Effective immediately for business registrants:

Pursuant to Mayor Tim Keller’s Fifth Declaration of Emergency Due to Novel Coronavirus COVID-19, normal business registration fees to apply for, renew, or collection of prior year unpaid registration fees are suspended until the month after the expiration of the declared public health emergency within the City of Albuquerque. This does not apply to either current or prior year unpaid Fire Marshal Safety Fees. These fees will still be collected concurrent with your business registration renewal. This also does not apply to business registration fees collected by other jurisdictions where such fees may apply. In the event that you have unpaid business registration fees from prior years, due to system limitations, it will be necessary to have those fees backed out before you pay any other applicable fees. Please contact the Business Registration Division PRIOR to paying any fees by emailing [email protected].
