Bridge Boulevard is now Avenida Dolores Huerta, named after the civil rights hero who fought for equal pay and conditions for the United Farm Workers and other causes. A look at the dedication on March 17.

We officially dedicated the recently renamed Avenida Dolores Huerta. It connects to Avenida Cesar Chavez, making it the first intersection in the nation named after two civil rights heroes. We’re excited to be able to add this to our ongoing celebration of #WomenshistoryMonth!
