Opportunity for Veterans!
New Musicals Inc (NMI) is adapting veteran's stories into ten-minute musicals to be filmed as part of a web-series to honor veterans.
Veterans whose stories are selected for development will receive a $1000 honorarium and hold on to the rights of their stories.
Don't let the "musical" aspect dissuade you. NMI just needs a compelling story from your background – just one story – not a compilation -- and they will bring a composer, lyricist, and professional actor together to turn it into song. They will also welcome you into the collaboration process if you want to be included on the creative side.
See the link for info and a very short video that explains the project. Deadline is November 20.

Catch me LIVE today talking about my Martial Arts series of paintings. Get a view of the original art, with the Resin coating, and see some of the work. All my original art is 25% off today. The LIVE is happening on Facebook and you can view it by clicking on the LIVE link in my bio. I've done a series of Martial Arts paintings studying Martial Arts movements. This ongoing series is exploring vital parts of martial arts moves to articulate the movement through art. If you're a martial artist interested in participating in this project send me a DM, I'd love to hear from you. Thanks!

I went to an unaccompanied funeral for an Army veteran and Navy veteran last week, both Korean War era vets. I was blown away by how many people showed up, vets and active duty to pay respects. Just goes to show the depth of the brotherhood and sisterhood of the military. Not everyone “gets it”, and that’s ok. Every veteran has a story to tell no matter how boring or thrilling, and we heal our own issues by relishing in that camaraderie. This Veterans Day many will gather together from all eras and all walks of life, brought together by a mutual bond of honor, respect, and devotion to the freedoms we protect. 🇺🇸
